As you embark on an exclusive journey across this dazzling white landscape, the world’s largest salt flat stretches endlessly around you. In the heart of the salt flats, enjoy a unique picnic lunch or dinner — either on the shimmering salt or against the breathtaking backdrop of Isla Incahuasi, which is famous for its giant cacti and panoramic views.
For an even more magical experience, opt for a sunset picnic and watch as the sky reflects off the salt flats in stunning shades of gold and pink.
Savor a beautifully laid-out picnic with exquisite local flavors as you take in the surreal beauty of this otherworldly place.
Private 2-Day Inca Trail: Arrive at Machu Picchu Like the Incas
Experience Machu Picchu the authentic way by following in the ancient footsteps of the Incas on a private 2-day trek, culminating in an unforgettable arrival at the legendary Sungate (Inti Punku) - just as the Incas once did. Unlike the traditional 4-day Inca Trail, which involves rugged camping and challenging climbs, this exclusive 2-day version, organised directly by SAT, offers a more luxurious and rewarding experience.
Your journey begins with a scenic train ride to Km 104, where the guided trek starts. After a beautiful 6-hour hike (13 km/8 mi) through cloud forests and past spiritual archaeological sites such as Wiñaywayna, you will be rewarded with the first breathtaking views of Machu Picchu from above — a magical moment to celebrate with a toast. Enjoy a glass of wine and some light snacks before descending to Machu Picchu and taking the bus to Aguas Calientes for a well-deserved night in your comfortable hotel. The next morning, return early to Machu Picchu to explore the citadel on a guided tour in the mystical morning light before heading back to Cusco by train.
A Taste of Paracas: Scallop Harvest and Desert Sunset Picnic
Just a few hours' drive south of Lima, Paracas offers the perfect blend of coastal relaxation and desert adventure. Begin your experience aboard the premium Rayador boat, venturing into the Paracas National Reserve for an authentic scallop harvesting expedition. Guided by local divers, sample the freshest scallops straight from the ocean while top chefs prepare exquisite dishes featuring six varieties on board.
In the afternoon, trade the ocean breeze for desert winds as you travel to Ica and the captivating Huacachina oasis. From there, explore the towering sand dunes by 4x4, private dune buggy or even sandboard. Pause at a scenic viewpoint to witness an unforgettable desert sunset. End this extraordinary day with a luxury desert picnic of fine cheeses, cured meats, fresh fruit and sparkling wine under a starry sky, surrounded by the serene beauty of the desert.
