Tinajani by Andean (Opening April 2025)
Opening in April 2025, Tinajani will be Peru's second luxury tented camp by Andean, strategically located on the route between Cusco, Puno and the Colca Valley.
Known as the 'Canyon of the Guardians', Tinajani is a mystical stone forest surrounded by stunning Andean scenery. This 150 hectare private reserve invites guests to experience the perfect blend of adventure and comfort, similar to Andean's sister property Puqio (Colca Canyon).
Tinajani has six exclusive safari-style camps, each with two tents - one for sleeping (king or twin beds and en-suite bathroom) and one for relaxing - plus a private terrace with a solar-powered hot tub and uninterrupted views of the canyon. An old restored farmhouse serves as a welcoming hub with fireplaces, patios and spaces for dining and relaxing.
Guests can enjoy a variety of guided activities including hiking, biking, birdwatching, stargazing, visits to local artisan workshops or excursions to nearby villages such as Pucará, Lampa and Ayaviri and natural wonders such as the Puyas Forest and ancient rock paintings. This new destination perfectly complements the Peru Southern Circuit.
And that's not all: Andean has also announced further expansion plans, with a new property on the private island Suasi on Lake Titicaca set to open in December 2025. Stay tuned for more details!
