Welcoming Karin Mori as Director of Sales, North America!

We're delighted to welcome Karin Mori back to SAT as our new Director of Sales, North America! Having previously held various roles within SAT Peru, Karin gained valuable commercial experience before deciding to return "home" to lead our sales efforts in the USA and Canada.

"2024 has been a remarkable year for us in Peru, marking the first 'normal' year since the pandemic. Travellers returned in numbers similar to 2019, bringing new energy and growth to our beautiful country.
A personal highlight for me was the launch of our Sustainable Project in Tambococha, where we began building a new Community Centre to support local communities through sustainable development. Together with the people of Tambococha, SAT plan to create unique and authentic travel experiences for our mutual guests in the Sacred Valley.
Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be even brighter for Peru! With continued economic growth, a stable currency and relatively low inflation, the outlook for tourism in Peru in 2025 is very promising. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to an exciting 2025 with you!"

 

"2024 was a fantastic year for us, Brazil is in high demand, the number of visitors to our country has increased tremendously compared to the pre-pandemic period. For 2025, the forecast is the same, the interest is very high. There are so many new destinations that are growing fast, offering many new high-end hotels and improving their infrastructure, such as Lençois Maranhenses and Fernando de Noronha.

It was not an easy year for SAT Ecuador. "2024 has been a year of growth, transformation and unforgettable journeys. Our office has undergone a complete makeover to create a modern and inspiring workspace that reflects the spirit of travel. Each room features beautiful photographs of the breathtaking landscapes of Chilean Patagonia, the Atacama Desert, Easter Island and the Lake District.
As a team, we travelled to the Casablanca Valley to experience world-class wine tours and visited the top hotels in the Valparaiso region.
In 2024, the World Travel Awards recognised Chile as 'South America's Leading Adventure Tourism Destination'. We look forward to 2025, when the country will host prominent events such as the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), further strengthening its place on the global map for adventure tourism."

 

"Last year brought encouraging news for tourism in Colombia. The country enhanced its local and international air connectivity, and thousands of new jobs were generated within the industry. The economy was stable enough to maintain tourism competitive. Colombia also expanded its accommodation offerings, and the new national slogan, 'Colombia, the Country of Beauty' was seen around the globe.
At SAT Colombia, we also experienced a successful year. We welcomed visitors from nearly all of our pre-pandemic clients, saw our team grow once again, and expanded our portfolio of sustainable, nature experiences and accommodations. Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to continue developing unique and memorable experiences for our clients. We aim to offer our visitors the opportunity to appreciate Colombia's rich natural beauty and biodiversity at its best. "Our office in Uruguay went through some changes, as we recently moved to a new office building. The team has been busy settling in into the new neighbourhood, located close to the lovely “Parque Rodo” and the Montevideo Golf course.
Uruguay continues to shine as a travel destination thanks to its stable political environment and reputation for safety. Montevideo and coastal towns such as Punta del Este offer a well-developed infrastructure, making them ideal for a relaxed and enjoyable travel experience.
